They do not like being picked up but that is reasonable. They love grass. So much. They come running for their grass and because of previous lessons they will hop for their grass. It seems like they are the most mischievous of any of the other geese I have had as well as friendly.
One day, a white gosling came up to me while I was picking bean pods from my bean plant. She decided to eat part of the bean plant because she thought I was doing that. Now they will eat bean leaves if I give them to them. They do not love it as much as grass though. They always come to check out what I am doing. They hope it means that they will get grass. Which they usually do. They seem more intelligent than the gray geese. And yet again, they seem to be built more like an African goose than a Chinese goose. I was not expecting that. But it leads me to believe that my gray geese have a lot of that White Chinese blood in them. I intend to give them their official names soon.

my name is EmilyI have twenty-eight geese. I hatch a bunch of goslings because I want a lot of people to have geese. I do not see them everywhere but I want to! The goslings are the sweetest baby birds I know! The adult males are proud and can be cranky but have their sweet moments while the females are shy and sweet all at the same time. Categories
